Owner Of Bensalem Bagel Shop Arrested For Sexually Harassing Female Employees

A local Bensalem woman was fed up with the alleged harassment at her place of employment, Bagelocity on Bensalem Blvd. so she contacted Bensalem Police. The woman, (who is named Jane Doe for this article) alleged that the incidents happened starting in August 2025. She said she worked at the shop before, took a year off for school then came back.
The owner, Larry Ferreira, of Bensalem is accused of smacking her behind when the two were standing outside the store. Doe did not say anything to Ferreira because she was shock and scared to lose her job. It happened again a week later, according to police. This time the employee called Ferreira’s wife and told her about the two incidents.
This did not stop. Ferreira continued to make sexually suggestive comments to Doe . He would also yell at her in front of other employees. Doe again called his wife to inform her. Larry, the complaint reads would simply make smart comments about running to his wife again. He was even more rude to Doe at this time, police said.
Eventually, Doe quit, citing the abuse as the reason. Police checked and found two other people (females) that reported Ferreira’s conduct to law enforcement. This includes saying inappropriate, sexually charged comments He even told one “You look like a stripper” and threw dollar bills at her. Both of those incidents happened in 2023 police said in court documents.
Police arrested Larry and charged him with harassment and indecent assault
