Former Bristol Twp Police Officer and School District Police Chief Arrested For Child Porn

David Jayne, a former patrol officer with the Bristol Twp, Police Department has been arrested and charged with possession of child porn. Dissemination of such material. Jayne was also the Chief of the School Police for the Township.
Jayne was in possession of images that he should not have on his computer. When those images are sent online, they are flagged by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and that is how he was caught. His home on Granite Road in Levittown was searched by authorities earlier today.
Jayne was held on $50,00 bail which he could not immediately post. That caused him to be remanded to the Bucks County Prison.His next scheduled court appearance is May 6 2026. A mug shot is not available as of press time. His Linked In page shows no photo and 10 connections.
Jayne has since retired from both positions. Township Police Chief Charles Winik said ““This is a deeply disturbing investigation, and there is no place for this in our society, We will continue to be thorough in our investigations into crimes such as these.”
