Police Said Yardley Male Fired Gun Inside Bensalem Chicken Restaurant
by Alex Lloyd Gross
Bensalem Police allege that Landon McMahon of Yardley, PA, 18, was inside Asad’s Hot Chicken on the 2500 block of Knights Rd on April 27, 2026. During his visit, he went into the mens room and pulled out a pistol. During that time, the gun discharged and a shot went into the wall. Police found bullet fragments on the ground. No one was struck by gun fire.

The circumstances surrounding this are unknown. The gun could have been mishandled or he could have deliberately pulled the trigger, police did not comment on that. When the investigation started, they obtained security camera footage and noticed McMahon left in an Infinity. He was tracked using License Plate Reader technology. That is how they got his identity.

They have a warrant out for him. To compound the matter, he was spotted by Middletown Police but sped away when officers tried to stop him.

Police said his warrant is for Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License, and other related offenses. He will also answer to charges from Middletown as well.
