Jessica Ireland, a newly minted Director of Parks and Recreation for Bristol Township has been arrested and charged with Misappropriation of Funds and related offenses. Court documents secured by this paper show that in 2020 she was the Confidential Secretary to the Township Manager. As such, she had an Amazon Business Account.

In July of 2025 she was promoted to run the Parks and Rec division of the township. She retained the Amazon business Account point person even though she was no longer supposed to have it. In fact she was told several times to relinquish the account status and credit card that put her in charge. She did not.

In September 2025 the Township Manager noticed several unauthorized charges. When confronted about the charges, Ireland is alleged to have stated that she charged them by accident. Court records show that when the account was reviewed 370 unauthorized purchased were made, totaling $14,000.00 , from March through December of 2025.

The township Amazon account is billed every month with items individually identified for easy reconciliation. In addition, Ireland told authorities that she used her personal Venmo account for the Bristol Township Fall Festival, to receive money for the purchase of raffle tickets. That total was $340.00 which was never given to the township.

In addition to this four $100.00 deposits were allegedly taken by the defendant for building rentals. When questioned by police, Ireland is alleged to have said that she was “having impulsivity of spending money without knowing before it is too late.

Ireland is charged with theft, misappropriation of government funds and related offenses. She is free on $50,000 unsecured bond. According to Assistant Township Manager Heather Satterly, Ireland is no longer a township employee.
