Bicycle Rider Struck By Car On Route 13 In Bristol Borough

A bicycle rider sustained serious but not life threatening injuries after he was struck by a car last night at Route 13 and Bath Street, in front of the Golden Eagle Diner. The crash happened about 9:00 PM.

Police said the bicycle rider was crossing Route 13 going towards the borough when a northbound SUV hit him. Who had the green light is under investigation. The damage to the vehicle was around the headlight assembly area. The bike was laying on the parking lot in front of the diner.

No roads were closed however, one lane was taken up in the northbound direction for the investigation.
