Bristol Male Winds Up In Jail For Passing Funny Money In Warrington

Andy Ruben Rodriguez Anzules ,24, from Bristol Pa, wound up in Bucks County Prison after he was charged with passing money that was not US Currency. Back on April 30,2026, he was at Sparta in Warrington and made a small purchase using a very fake $20.00 bill.

The bill looked real. It was supposed to look real. It is movie prop money. It’s perfectly legal to own and totally illegal to spend. This money is used for movie shoots, music videos and theatrical purposes. Police said that when he allegedly passed to bill, the store employees found the discrepancy and actually found more money that was passed to them.

Police were called and found another fake $20.00 bill in Anzules wallet. Rodrigues Anzules was processed and arraigned by Judge Wertman who set bail at $20,000 or 10% cash in real money. Rodrigues Anzules was not able to post bail and was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
His charges include forgery related offenses.
