Southampton Child Predator Gets Prison For Getting Improper Communications With Children

Alec James Magill, 32, from Upper Southampton PA is going to the Bucks County Prison for one year less a day to two years less a day after he entered a guilty plea to using the internet to solicit photos of naked children.
Magill would pose as a teenager and start chatting up children, all over the country. They were tipped off by the FBI that he was communicating with a 13 year old girl in Tennessee and the investigation started back in January 2025..
Investigators determined that Magill utilized Roblox under the username “instantclassic9” and the encrypted messaging application Telegram to pose as a teenager. Through these platforms, Magill solicited explicit photographs from the victim and engaged in sexually explicit communications.
When they interviewed Magill, he admitted to police that he lied about his age and that he regularly communicated with children in a sexual nature. When they examined his cellphone 3000 messages were recovered from a girl in North Carolina.that he was having inappropriate chats with, police said.
Magill pleaded guilty to felony counts of sexual abuse of children, possession of child abuse material, unlawful contact with a minor, dissemination of explicit sexual material to a minor, unlawful contact with a minor – obscene performances, and criminal use of a communication facility.
District Attorney Joe Khan just recently filed a civil lawsuit against major internet companies alleging that they fail to do enough to protect children. Roblux was one of the companies mentioned in the suit.
