Victims Identified In South Philly Double Murder Suicide

Philadelphia Police have identified the three victims shot yesterday evening on the 2800 block of South 10th Street. Early investigation proved that this was a double murder suicide and after more investigation police are able to ascertain a bit more about what happened.

At 5:32 PM police went to a house for a call about a shooting. When they arrived,they found three woman shot and each of them were shot in the head, police said. The two victims have been identified as 18-year-old Angelina Picano and 55-year-old Denice Grottini.

Police said that Janice Picano shot the two women in the head before shooting herself. It is unclear, how the three are all related. Janice Picano was 67 years old. The investigation is being handled by the Homicide unit. The motive behind the shooting is unclear, police said.
