Get Ready For July 4th Party In Far Northeast Philly

If you are looking for something to do on July 4th and also want to see fireworks, you are in luck. The One River Alliance, in conjunction with State Street Events is holding a party at the Linden Avenue Boat Launch. The official name is Pleasant Hill Park. This event is about to start around 6:00 PM and it runs until the last firework is lit off. It’s a great way to celebrate America 250.

It’s a bit bigger than last year, with vendors selling food, toys that light up in the dark as well as amusements for kids of all ages. You can even get a custom Henna Tattoo, which lasts a few weeks.

The park is closed to traffic so your best bet is to take a ride share or park on State Road and walk down. There will even be a live band and they play well into the night. No serious traffic problems like in center city. Neighborhood streets are closed off for residents only.
