Arrest Made In Roxborough Murder

Philadelphia Police announced they have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of Salis Hanrahan, 20, July 8 on the 400 block of Ripka Street. Officers found Hanrahan shot once time to his chest. Reports were that he was working on a house, putting siding on the house when the shooting happened. Police did not give a motive for the shooting.
One male, 75 year old George Barr, who police said was the homeowner, was brought in for questioning. He was charged today, with murder, and weapons offenses, police said. He is expected to be held without bail.
