Shots Fired, Police Vehicles Damaged In Melee In the Lower Northeast

Early this morning, about 2:45 AM Housing Police found a reported stolen car and followed it to the Hill Creek Projects, which is located near Adams Avenue. As officers worked to process the scene, a large crowd emerged and started to get out of control.
Within minutes, one male fired sho0ts and another male jumped onto a police car and damaged it. The shooter is described as a black male with a light complexion, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a surgical mask. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and police are still searching for the suspect.
Two unoccupied vehicles were struck by gunfire. No injuries have been reported.When it was all said and done, police arrested three males for disorderly conduct. All three were adult males, police said..
