Ruslan Sardalov, of the 800 block of Lawler Street was in business with another man to sell tires for vehicles. They stored their stock at the EZ Storage Facility on Red Lion Road. That man recently went to the storage facility to get inventory and found the storage unit was empty. 110 tires were stored there of various sizes and makes.

The man went to the management to complain and inquire as to what happened to his storage unit’s contents. The manager allowed him to look at security footage. Police said the footage showed his former partner, Sardalov arriving at the facility at about 6:30 AM. He loaded up the tires and left about 2:53 PM.

According to police, Sardalov was contacted by police and he admitted, in an interview that he used a grinder to remove two locks that secured the unit. He did not have anything stored at the facility and had knowledge of the code that he used to get into the facility, from when the two were partners. He provided police with the grinder he used to break into the locker unit.

Sardalov stated that he took the tires because he was owed money by the victim. Sardalov faces charges of Burglary, theft, trespassing and related offenses.
