11 Years In Federal Prison For Armored Car Robber

In the spring and summer of 2025, Brinks Armored vehicles were targeted by armed robbers. Mujahid Davis, 24, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,was one of those responsible for several robberies and attempts. This week, he learned that he would spend 11 years behind bars .

Authorities said that the crimes he participated in were July 2: outside the Dollar General located at 8445 Frankford Avenue,

July 15: in the area of 8210 Castor Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, outside a Planned Parenthood

August 12: 7320 Old York Road, Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, as Brinks driver was making a delivery to H-Mart

October 13: Brinks vehicle was servicing the Target located at 4060 City Avenue in Philadelphia

Davis pleaded guilty in March to two attempted Hobbs Act robberies, two Hobbs Act robberies, and one count of carrying, using, and brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.

Davis also has to pay back $134,000 in resititution.
