Male Held Without Bail In Bristol Borough Murder

Michael Myers , 59, was arrested yesterday about 7:15 AM after he allegedly killed his wife, Dawn Myers, by strangling him with several neckties. The incident was labeled by police as a “serious domestic assault”.
Police first went to the home on the 1300 block of Wood Street for an alarm about 6:00 AM. When they arrived, they found nothing wrong. They got a second call from a family member just before 6:30 AM who told the 911 operator that there was a murder inside.
According to police reports, Myers had scratches and blood on his face and wrists. He also had a hospital wristband on . It was later revealed that he went to a local hospital for threatening to kill himself but was released the next day.
Myers waited in a white SUV until family members arrived. A relative showed up after also getting an alarm notification. Myers is alleged to have followed him into the house an attempted to block his exit, but was physically moved out of the way. The SUV was later towed away.
Myers was charged with murder, assault and related offenses. He is held without bail at the Bucks County Prison.
