Center City Assault Broken Up By Group Of Good Samaritans

Police are looking at video from the area of 15th and JFK Blvd. October 25. 2026 at 9:07 PM. Police said an unknown black male was involved in an argument with another male who was with his friend. The black male produced a sharp object and struck the male he was arguing with several times in the back of his head.
Police said that a group of 10-12 people that saw this got involved and intervened in to protecting the male that was getting beaten. This suspect then ran away from the scene on 15th Street, in a southbound direction.
The male was taken to Jefferson Hospital. His friend sustained a serious laceration to his left arm. Police have made no arrests in this incident.
