At about 5:45 PM a pedestrian was struck by a motorcycle on the Roosevelt Blvd, just south of Bustleton Ave. The force of the impact caused the motorcycle to break into pieces. Gauges , handlebars and other parts were seen scattered in both the southbound inner and outer lanes.

Police could not be certain if the crash happened in the inner or outer lanes, however the bike was resting against a curb in the outer lanes. Both parties were rushed to local hospitals. Identities of the driver or pedestrian have not yet been released.

It is unclear if the pedestrian or motorcycle rider was killed in the crash. Traffic was a mess, with Northbound at a standstill from Levick Street. Southbound was closed at Magee, which caused Bustleton Avenue to back up.
