by Alex Lloyd Gross

Bristol Borough Chief Of Police Joe Moors, confirmed to Delaware Valley News.com that last night a trick or treater was given candy that had been tamped with. “The candy had a pin and a screw in in”, Moors said. No one was hurt. There were several pieces of candy given to one person.

“This is a very hard and thorough investigation, I don’t want to put too much out there at this point, Moors said. He did say that parents should thoroughly check the candy their child comes home with. This is the only instance of candy tampering that has been reported to Bristol Borough Police.

It is unknown the age of the person that got the candy or the location of where this candy was given out. Everything is being investigated, including if it was a prank or if someone was targeted. No arrests have been made at this time.
