Severe Storms Cause Outdoor Concerts To Be Cancelled

By Alex Lloyd Gross

Torrential downpours along with li9ghtning and winds have resulted in two different outdoor concerts to be cancelled tonight, August 7 2019.

Black Dog, a Led Zeppelin tribute band was going to play a show at Pennypack Park. This band always draws thousands of people . Organizers tried to hold the show but in the interest of public safety if was shut down and will be rescheduled.

Bensalem’s Amphitheater was scheduled to hold a show with a Chicago tribute band. That was cancelled as well.  Assume the shows would have gone on and the rain had stopped.  People would have to contend with wet grass, bugs and dangerous driving conditions to get to the shows.
