Multiple people hurt in Bristol Road crash

Cops in Bensalem said that several people were hurt after a two car accident on Bristol Road, near the Longmeadow Apartments Wednesday night, just before 8:00 PM. Witnesses said that several people in a Toyota were hurt when the car and a a Dodge Pick Up truck crashed in front of the complex. Several people were transported by medics from the scene. At least two ambulances were called to the scene.
The Newport Fire Company was called for a door pop, as there were reports of people trapped. The pick up truck careened out of control and went across a lawn and down a hill, before crashing down onto a side street. None of the injuries are said to be life threatening. All of the vehicles were towed away by 9:00 PM. Police said that the crash is being investigated and no charges have yet to be filed.
