Mayhem erupts at Bensalem cemetery

A family was attending the burial of their loved one at Roosevelt Memorial Park in Bensalem Twp., Bucks County. A man became engaged in an argument with family members. Funerals are a place where everyone’s emotions are on edge and this was no different, except when two members of the family started to argue. One of the men, a 50 year old from Philadelphia pulled out a pistol and fired some gun shots in the direction of his family. No one was struck.
The man then turned the gun on himself and fired one shot, He was pronounced dead at the scene. Cops closed off the cemetery for a brief while until they could get the situation under control. Reports first came in that there was a gunman on the lose but those reports were quickly dispelled. Other processions that came to the cemetery had to be curtailed.
