Philadelphia sports fans are the most passionate anywhere, they are rabid true believers, no matter what and they are loyal to the team. With that being said, There was a gathering for them outside Xfinity Live at Broad and Pattison Avenues. It was held in the parking lot of the center and parking was free. It started at 1:00 PM and that included autograph appearances by notables like Ben Simmons.
The majority of events were in the parking lot. Football tosses, golf swings and slides for adults. There was even a dunk tank to dunk a stripper. all four of the major teams were represented. Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and Sixers. Prior to going there,or after fans were done, they could have taken a short walk to the Linc, where merchandise for all of the Philly teams was on sale. T shirts were $5.00 and Hoodies were $10.00. There were items for a dollar. These are the same items that are outrageously overpriced at the stadium. They just ordered too many of them.
