Just In: Cops: Falls Man Charged with Attempted Homicide

A Falls Township man has been charged with attempted homicide for stabbing, beating,

and choking his 22 year -old wife on Thursday. Bao Thien Le, 24 of the 200 block of South Olds Blvd was arrested when Falls Police responded to a 911 call for help, according to a release.

When officers arrived at the residence, around 3:30 p.m. subsequent to the 911 call, they stooped Le’s attack on his victim, by physically removing him. police say.

The victim received medical treatment for her injuries, including several stab wounds to her head and torso a release says, adding the allegedly stabbed her with a screwdriver.

The Falls man is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, strangulation and other related offenses.

Le was arraigned early Friday morning, by District Court Judge Maggie Snow who set bail at 10 percent of $150, 000.
