Police Hold Holiday Party For Children In Northeast Philadelphia

Northeast Philadelphia is home to some very good children. Santa said that so it must be true. Out of all of the elementary schools in Northeast Philadelphia, 2nd and 15th District  schools were asked to select six children ( three boys and three girls) to a special holiday party put on by the Philadelphia Police 2nd and 15th Districts.today, December 19, 2019. Over 125 kids showed up at the Philadelphia Protestant Home on Martins Mill Road.  for the event.

They were treated to door prizes which included bicycles, and a 40 inch television set.  According to the DJ  Santa showed up ( no, he was not dropped on the roof  by the police helicopter) and gave out more toys for the children. In addition to a day off of school, the children also got their photos taken and got to see a magician. Local car dealer Gary Barbara sponsored the event.

Food and drinks were served as well as a cake, which was cut up and the kids all got to have a slice.. This event lasted over two hours and the kids ( and adults who were chaperones) had a blast.
