Porch Pirate Pinched in Bensalem

Bensalem Police announced on December 19, 2019 they have arrested a habitual porch pirate. Hector Martinez, of Bensalem has been driving his grey Mercedes SUV around Philadelphia and Bensalem, taking packages from people’s porches, after they have been delivered, police said..
He was observed in Philadelphia getting out of his vehicle with Amazon packages. Upon further investigation, he had multiple packages inside that vehicle which had addresses for people in Philadelphia and Bensalem. He was turned over to township police, arrested and charged locally with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. He faces additional charges in Philadelphia.
If your package was stolen by Martinez, police will be in contact with you, and your merchandise will be returned to you. Security camera footage was crucial in capturing Martinez.
