Watch Arsonist Set Building On Fire ,Wanted By Police In Philly
The City Wide Arson Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual responsible for starting a fire outside a business. On May 6, 2020 at approx. 5: 13AM, the police and fire departments responded to the location on the 2700 block of North 22nd Street for a reported fire. Upon their arrival they found a trash fire on the exterior of the building. The fire progressed upward causing significant damage to the building. There were tenants living on the floors above the grocery store when the fire occurred and were not injured as a result of the fire. Video recovered depicts at 5:00 am, an unknown black male light the trash on fire and then leave the area.
- Suspect Description: Black male, late 40 to early 50 years-of-age, approximately 6 feet in height, very short hair (possible buzz cut) wearing jeans, a dark colored jacket with hoodie which has an Air Jordan logo on the front, face mask down over his neck, and walks with a noticeable limp.
