Bensalem House Fire Keeps Firefighters Busy

Firefighters from Bensalem and the surrounding area made a good stop on a house fire last night, June 17 2020.As the first fire crews to respond on to N. Inlet drive showed ow, they found smoke coming from the rear, top floor of a townhouse. Before more fire fighters could get there, smoke and fire had gone into the attic but was pretty much stopped there. The fire did not spread to other dwellings, officials said at the scene. No injuries were reported.
The cause is yet to be determined by the fire marshal. As fire crews got the upper hand, additional companies were released and cleared the scene. The last apparatus left the scene before midnight.
