Shooting In Northeast Sends Male To Hospital

One male was shot today, November 5, 2020 and is in serious condition . He was scooped up by police at Summerdale and Tyson Avenues, after he ran from where he was shot at. A few minutes earlier, police responded to the 7000 block of Souder Street where they processed a crime scene. Several shell casings were recovered.
It is not known how many times the victim was shot or any motive. There was another scene with shell casings in the rear of the 1100 block f Tyson Avenue, police said. That area was closed off as well. police were looking to see if any vehicles sustained any bullet damage. The shooting happened just after 11:00 AM. The victim wast taken to Einstein Hospital. Detectives will canvass both areas for security cameras. Several have been located. A dark colored van was thought be be involved in the shooting.
