Domestic Violence Standoff Leads To SWAT Call Out In Trevose.

John Taylor is in serious trouble with the police, He has a Protection From Abuse  (PFA) order for him to stay away from his house on Willow Avenue. He was previously violent towards his wife and she got the PFA  order against him.  The order signed by a judge said that he was not permitted to be at his house. That did not  stop him. During the early evening of June 21, 2021 he made an appearance  at the house. He refused to leave and police were called.

He refused to talk with police and according to Bill McVey, Deputy Director of Public Safety for Bensalem Twp, a barricade situation was declared.  The street was closed and residents on the block were told to shelter in place.  Even as a SWAT team arrived,l, Taylor refused to emerge from the residence, until after midnight. He was taken into custody and charged with  Indirect Criminal Contempt, which is violating the PFA..
