Emergency Storm Information For Bensalem Residents

Bensalem residents  who were affected by the 100 year  storm should read this.  If your vehicle was towed you must call (215) 633-3719.  This includes vehicles that were left on flooded roadways, or towed from a residential street. If you believe your vehicle was towed by the police , due to flooding, you should call that number..

If you are in need of shelter, you are strongly advised to visit the Cornwells Fire Company today, July  14, 2021  and go into the Maltese Room which is around the rear of the building. The firehouse is located at 2049  Route 13 in Bensalem. Inside, representatives from the Red Cross and other agencies will be there to help you.  The hours of operation are from noon until 6:00 PM.

 

According to Fred Harran, Director of Public Safety  for Bensalem Twp, the Red Cross gave out 30 vouchers  for essentials in one day.  Damage was not confined to the Lafayette Gardens, on Rt. 13.   Creekside Apartments sustained  flood damage as well.
