Box Truck Crash Causes State Road Shutdown In Bensalem

It was just after 11:00 AM when a box truck operated by a crew that was coming down Locust Street, in Bensalem. They were coming from a client picking up or dropping off event supplies. When the truck got to the intersection of State Road and Locust , the truck attempted to enter onto State Road, A vehicle northbound on State Road and the two collided.
At least two people were injured in the crash. Police could not say who was at fault, as the car might have been traveling faster than the posted speed limit. None of the injuries were life threatening. The force f the wreck caused the box truck to be moved several feet. The truck was abler to be driven onto a side street to await. their tow truck.
State Road was closed in the area for about an hour as duty tow arrived and cleaned up the wreck and debris from the street.
