Male Dies In Bizarre Accident In Philly

One male is dead following a strange accident in the Kensington section of the Philadelphia. The crash happened in broad daylight, just after 9:45 AM yesterday, November 1, 2021. The accident happened at Lehigh Avenue and Mascher Street. A vehicle was west bound on Lehigh, when the driver went around another vehicle, to get through the intersection.
In the meantime, a person decided to sit in a chair, in the middle of the intersection. They were struck by the car and dragged the person one block to Lehigh and Hancock Street, where they were pronounced dead at 10:17 AM. The driver of the striking car remained on scene. A toxicology test is going to be given to see if the person sitting in the chair was impaired.
