Serious Trike Vs Flat Bed Truck Accident On Street Road

One male is in serious condition after an accident involving a trike he was driving collided with a flatbed truck in Bensalem Twp, today, November 4 2021. The wreck happened just after 11:00 AM, when the trike was north on Hulmeville Road, in the left turn lane. At that time, the flatbed truck was east on Street Road, making a wide turn. The two vehicle crashed head on in the intersection.
Police said they are not sure who is at fault, until the investigation is completed. Traffic was closed at Knights for a while, but since reopened. According to Police Lt. Bob race, “we hope to have this cleared as soon as possible, by the start of the evening rush hour”. Any charges will be filed after the investigation, if they are warranted. The driver of the flat bed was hauling construction equipment and had to make a wide turn. He was not hurt in the crash.
