by Alex Lloyd Gross
In one of the longest running rivalries in the Delaware Valley, The Lincoln Rail splitters met the Father Judge Crusaders at Lincoln at 10:00 AM for a football game. The game started good for Lincoln, with a drive toward the end one for a touchdown. That would have happened but an interception was thrown . That interception took the wind out of the sails for Lincoln. They would not score one point during the game. By the end of the game they would lose 38-0.
Father Judge dominated the game.. About 500 people showed up for this game, with most sitting in bleachers as opposed to the grass on the other side of the stadium. .Penalties for both teams were minimal. Father Judge has a history of winning the annual Thanksgiving game, having lost only a handful of times. The game was played in near perfect weather.
