Fatal Stabbing At South Philly WAWA On Valentines Day

Philadelphia police are looking for the person responsible for fatally stabbing a male in the parking lot of the WAWA on the 1600 block of Christopher Columbus Boulevard. They are looking into security camera footage from the store and neighboring businesses. There is no description of the perp just yet.
According to Police Officer Miguel Torres, of the Public Affairs Unit, “We don’t know if this is from an argument or if the two males knew each other. It’s too early to tell” The stabbing happened at 3:56 AM. The male was stabbed one time in the abdomen. He was rushed to Jefferson University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:38 PM.
