Two People Shot In 15th District Last Night

Philadelphia Police are reporting that two males were shot last night in two different locations. The shootings happened within one hour of each other and no not appear to be related.
On Thursday, February 17, 2022, at approximately 9:45 P.M., A 32 year old black male suffered gunshot wounds to the back and left leg on Bleigh Avenue and Torresdale Avenue. A private vehicle transported the victim to Nazareth Hospital. He was transported by helicopter to Temple University Hospital. He is currently listed in critical condition. Scene held, no arrest and weapon recovered from the vehicle. The investigation is active and ongoing with Shooting Investigation Group.
On Thursday, February 17, 2022, at approximately 10:43 P.M., A 43 year old white male suffered gunshot wounds to the stomach and chest on the 13XX block of Arrott Street. PFD-Medic Unit # 42 transported the victim to Temple University Hospital. He is listed in stable condition. Scene held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Shooting Investigation Group.
