Two Vehicle Crash Closes Newportville Road In Bristol Twp.

A two vehicle traffic accident closed Newportville Road in Bristol Township at the intersection with Ford Road.  The road was shut down for about one hour, as EMS crews tended to injured people and police investigated the cause.

Preliminary reports are that a vehicle made a left turn in front of another vehicle, sending that vehicle onto a lawn and making contact with a utility pole. The pole has superficial damage and no power outage was reported. None of the injuries were said to be serious. At least two ambulances were called to the scene.

The accident happened about 11:00 AM.
