Car Splits In Half In Bristol Borough Crash

A grinding two car crash on Bristol Pike at Commerce Circle  sent several people to local  hospitals just before 6:00 PM tonight. None of the injuries is said to be life threatening. One of the vehicles was in the Northbound lanes of Route 13 and the other car was split in half  blocking the south bound lanes.

 

 

 

The front portion of the car was resting against a retaining wall and the other half was in the road. Fire crews were seen putting water on the grass and engine parts that caught fire.  Traffic was closed southbound and pushed through the shopping center. to come pout farther on Route 13. The northbound jughandle was closed to prevent cross traffic.

 

 

Police did not say what cause the crash and any charges will be filed later, if warranted.

  1. Yes I was coming out of cvs 901 bristol pike and saw all the police. Fire trucks going past me wondering what happened. Sure was lot of equipment.

  3. Thank you to the Two witnesses that ran over and saved my Aunt from her car well what was left of it. She means so much to me and her family she is my second Mother wish I know who you were so I could thank you in person. God was looking out for her. God bless you Two men and your family’s.

    1. I know the Police were looking for them at the scene to see if they had witnessed the accident. I’m guessing they wanted a statement from them. Yes they were very nice gentlemen. I was talking to them on the side of the road. They did say they pulled I guess your Aunt out of the car. Hope all is well with her. Hopefully she’s not too injured from that horrible mess.

That has been a death trap since day one when they redid 13 they were supposed to do away with all the jug handles that’s why we had the left turn signals but for some reason they let that death trap open and this is what occurs and it’s not going to end until they shut it down and put a left turn signal there
