Falls Resident Will Probably Die In Prison for Molesting Children

Craig Hartman, 68, of Falls Township will spend possibly the rest of his life in state prison. He was sentenced to served 23 to 46 years for molesting two girls as young as 10 years old.
The investigation into the assaults started in 2020 when one little girl told police that Hartman would undress and make them undress. The assaults took place in Falls and Middletown Townships. Sometimes he would take them to a swimming pool at his apartment, police said. Both girls testified against Hartman at trial.
Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey L. Finley sentenced Hartman to consecutive sentences for each of the victims, totaling 23 to 46 years in state prison. In addition, he adopted the finding of the Sex Offender Assessment Board, which classified Hartman as a sexually violent predator, meaning he will be required to report as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
He was convicted by a Bucks County jury in September of one count of rape of a child and two counts each of aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault, indecent exposure, corruption of minors, and unlawful contact with a minor.
