Andrew Wolf, age 42, of Philadelphia, PA, was sentenced today before United States District Court Judge Mark A. Kearney to 38 years and 10 months in prison, 5 years supervised release, $800 special assessment, $40,000 special assessment under the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act, $150,000 in assessments. He tricked his own students into sending him naked photos of themselves.

Wolf, a teacher at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy  worked with another individual to produce and distribute child porn. He would set up fake profiles of children and then interact with young girls, enticing them to send naked photos to him. The girls thought they were sending the photos to another teenage girl. His partner and co conspirator , who was also working with Wolf,  would do this to students of Wolf. Wolf would gather online intel on his own students and then pass that info to his partner, who would then entice Wolf’s students to take naked photos of themselves, so that they could be disseminated.

“Our Office and our law enforcement partners are committed to holding child sexual predators accountable,” said U.S. Attorney Romero. “Today’s sentencing will never make the victims whole; however, it should serve as a reminder to all of us that an open line of communication and discussion with our youth about the ever-evolving dangers on the internet are another key component to keeping our youth safe”.
