Falls Resident Charged With Drugging and Killing His Mother In Frankford

Sean Rivera, of Berwyn Road, Falls Township is in jail with out bail. Police said that he is accused of drugging his disabled mother with fentanyl and then driving her to a shed in Frankford,  on Waln Street, where police said he shot her. one time..

Rivera texted his bother. Adam Clark-Valle for him to phone. He texted 911. Clark-Valle resides in New York.  When he got in touch with his brother, about 7:30 AM on April 9,2023.  he was told that their mother had died.  Clark-Valle drove from New York to Falls and met his bother.  When questioned,  his bother stated that she had a heart attack and went to Frankford.

 

 

 

 

 

Clark-Valle called hospitals in and around the Frankford section of the city and could not find his mother.  Clark-Valle went to check hospitals himself and could not locate his mother. He returned to the house and his brother was not there.  His mother required a wheelchair for mobility. Police were called. Rivera was evasive with police and acting in a suspicious manner. A search warrant was secured.

 

 

 

 

April 9 was the victim, Carol Clark’s birthday and when her son  Adam texted her the evening before but she did not respond. He told police it was very unusual for this to happen.  He had plans with her for later in the day.

As police were searching the property,  Sean Rivera admitted to them that he went out for takeout for his mother and laced her tea with fentanyl.  A few hours later,  with his mother in a lethargic state, from the drugs, he managed to get he into her vehicle and drove her to 4371 Waln Street in Frankford.  On that property, police said that Sean Rivera  shot his mother one time and then locked her in a shed. .

In the grass by the shed was a spent casing. Near the building,  there was a spent projectile, police said. Rivera was charged with criminal homicide, kidnapping to facilitate a felony, kidnaping to inflict terror or injury, aggravated assault, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of an instrument of crime, possession of a weapon, false imprisonment, unlawful restraint, and recklessly endangering another person. This case is being prosecuted in Bucks County.
