Hours Apart, One Male Killed, Another Stabbed Near SEPTA Train Station

Philadelphia Police are reporting that two different males were assaulted at the SEPTA Allegheny  Station .   Earlier today, about 12:19 AM one male was in the elevator (eastbound side)  and another male stabbed him at least one time in the back.  The victim managed to get on a train and  made it to 8th and Market Streets, where Transit Police found him.  When they went back to the area where he was stabbed, police found no scene, weapon and they did not release a description.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just a few hours later, at 4:19 AM on the same block of Kensington Avenue, a male was shot . The perp ran away on foot and police said that they did not have a suspect in custody. The victim was rushed to Temple Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:33 AM.  Police are combing the area for video.
