Traffic Stop Leads To Bensalem Resident Arrested For Illegal Gun Possession

Grant Lyons, of River Road, in Bensalem in in Bucks County Prison, under $800,000 bail. He is charged with being in possession of a gun that he should not have had, , drug charges and traffic violations. His problems started May 27, 2023, when Bensalem Police spotted a male driving a Toyota commit a traffic violation on Route 13 in front of the WAWA.
Before officers could stop him, he pulled his car into the parking lot and then exited his car. He had a gun holster on him that was empty. Police ordered him back into his car and then investigated further. It was determined that he had a pistol in the console as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia, police said.
His charges include, Persons not to possess a firearm Carrying a Firearm without a License Possession with Intent to Deliver Drug Paraphernalia Possession of a Controlled Substance possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance Various Traffic Violations
