Car Flips In Parkwood, Several Parked Vehicles Damaged

One woman was hurt after her SUV struck three parked cars along the 3500 block of Woodhaven Road. The crash happened today about noon. Fire crews were on scene tending to the woman and doing traffic control until police arrived.
The woman was alone in her car when she suffered a medical emergency, bystanders said. She veered to the right and clipped the side mirror off a parked car, bounced off of that vehicle and slammed into another car in the rear, which pushed that car into another parked car. Her car then flipped over onto the roof.
She was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for treatment. No people were in the vehicles that were parked. Some of those cars sustained disabling damage.
