Persons who were arrested for serious felonies recently, should not waste their time reading any further. For those that might have a conviction for a nuisance crime, such as Disorderly Conduct, Defiant Trespass may be able to get a pardon through the office of pardons. Lt. Governor Austin Davis is trying to help people get a second chance.
There is an expedited pardon process that people can go through , that was started with the Wolf Administration. It for for minor Marijuana convictions only. Now, that expedited process has been expanded to other crimes. Disorderly Conduct is a catch all crime that police use to charge you when other crimes do not fit. Across the country, many lawsuits have been filed against police for arresting people for nothing illegal and then charging them with Disorderly Conduct. The person arrested could have been asking questions, or filming public facilities etc. Other times, they refuse to move out of a crime scene. Other, non violent convictions are eligible for the expedited process.

Those people that have crimes of theft or other non violent convictions can get a pardon through the standard review process. There is a substantial time from between your arrest and when your application can be considered. In some cases that time is 10 to 15 years. Visit the above link for more information.
