Bank Robbed In Northeast Philadelphia

Philadelphia Police are looking for a black male in his late 20’s who was last seen on Veree Road. He robbed the Tompkins Bank which is located near the intersection of Veree Road and Rhawn Street.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Police said the male displayed a threatening note that he had a gun. While police said he never pulled it, it was observed by employees at the bank. He was given $962.00  and ran away, last seen south on Veree Road.  No injuries were reported.  He robbed the bank at 3:06 PM.  The bank will remain closed for the rest of the day.
