Inmate Stabbed Inside Philadelphia Prison
Police reported that they, along with prison officials are investigating a stabbing that happened this morning just before 10:30 AM. Officials did not say specifically where in the prison it happened.
A 21 year old black male inmate was stabbed once in his head, chest, nose and upper back area, police said. There have been no arrests and no witnesses. The knife was not recovered. The male was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale in stable condition.
This has been one of many stabbings that have happened inside that prison in recent months.
