Phila Male Arrested For Retail Theft At Bucks Wal-Mart Had Warrant Out Of Philly

On September 22,2023 Police in Warrington were called to Wal-Mart at Valley Gate Drive for a report of a male stealing merchandise. When officers arrived, the male was gone. They checked cameras and saw that an elderly male had put items valued at $281.04 into his cart. He then left the store without paying.
Police checked the immediate area. This was at about 10:19 PM. They found the male at a nearby bus stop. They searched him and found the merchandise and also some drug paraphernalia. The male was identified as Glenn Whiting of Philadelphia. He was waiting for bus to take him back to the city.
Upon running his name for warrants, they found he had a warrant out of Philadelphia for retail theft. Whiting was cited, then taken to the Bucks County Prison. He was released to Philadelphia authorities where he was placed in CFCF until his hearing on October 16,2023. Court records show Whiting has a long record for retail theft, robbery and drugs.
