Police Release More Looting Video, This Time From Aldi
Philadelphia Police just released a video from inside the Aldi store,located on the 5200 block of Whittaker Ave. It was on September 26, 2023 when looters broke into multiple business locations in Philadelphia. They were upset over a court decision involving former Philadelphia Police Officer Mark Dial. Dial was set free from shooting a male with a knife inside a car. Dial misled investigators by saying Eddie Irizzary lunged at him with a knife. That was not the case.
Everyone in the above video is a felon. The store was closed. The front window was smashed. That did not stop these people from helping themselves to whatever they wanted. Even entering a closed establishment is burglary, without anything being taken.
Police want to hear from you if you know who anyone in this video is. If it is you, the smartest thing you can do is to turn yourself in and work out a deal with the DA.
