All of the township fire companies were represented, with Newportville hosting Santa. Helpers walked with Santa, who was on the back of a trailer. The helpers were busy collecting letters from children, most who all professed to be good. In those letters were requests for toys and other items.

Interspersed with the different displays were fire trucks. The parade lasted about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on where you were. Some spots along Mill Creek would experience gaps of 15 minutes or more. State Representative Tina Davis was there. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick could not make it due to being stuck in Washington.

The parade concluded at Mill Creek Elementary School.
