Another Long Distance Thief Arrested In Warrington
by Alex Lloyd Gross
Warrington ( Bucks County PA) Police were called to the Wegmans on Main Street. On September 7, 2023 Store security watched as a blonde female and her male companion walked into the store. The two allegedly grabbed multiple packages of razors. They then put the razors into the female’s purse and left the store without paying.
When security approached them, they did not want to cooperate. Instead, the female dumped the razors on the ground and fled with her male friend. When police got there, the couple was gone. Using cameras and license plate readers, police were able to identity the female as Kimberly Smith, of Northeast Maryland.
She was contacted by police and chose to turned herself in before Christmas, which she did, as opposed to having police take her from her house. She had to drive from Northeast Maryland to Warrington for her arrest. Her bail was set at $25,000 unsecured by District Judge Stacy Wertman. Smith will have to get herself back to Bucks County for all of her court hearings..
This comes just a week after another long distance shoplifter was arrested by Warrington Police.
